nano_ganesh This is putting technology to work in rural environment. Tata Teleservices is helping farmers in India to control the water irrigation remotely using a system called Nano Ganesh.

The needs for this products emerges from the electricity shortage. Before farmer use to walk several miles just to know that there is no electricity for the pump. With Nano Ganesh, now farmer can check to see if there is electricity and control the pump remotely.

Nano Ganesh is available at $56. This device will attach to the pump switch. SMS charges applied when we use the sms to control the pump.
